Hi There !

It's that hectic time of year again ! So little time and so much to do ! But, despite all that doom and gloom emenating from Europe and the USA maybe things could be worse ?
Yes we still have books ,wonderful books for holiday reading,great books for gifting ideas and a boon for collectors.As a bookseller one tries to anticipate what the public wants and there will always be those special books which are in demand year after year,like "Jock of the Bushveld" in English and Afrikaans in it's various editions for different age groups.Lawrence Green's "Karoo" and not forgetting T V Bulpin's "The Ivory Trail".
For those who saw service on the Borders there are many books about those difficult and dangerous days,particularly stories about the 'Special Forces"
For those 'Rhodies' still homesick there are many books available about what happened 'up North'
Please don't be shy of asking what is available.
Following demand I have continued to add some of the old,childhood favourits such as 'Biggles', 'Just William' and dear old 'Billy Bunter'.Great for collectors as well as for your children.
I also keep old action and spy novels for such as Alistair MacLean,Jack Higgins,John Le Carre etc.,as well as South African oldsters such as Geoffrey Jenkins,Anthony Trew and Desmond Bagley.
For those who like a trip to the 'light fantastic' there is always Stephen King !
and let us not forget Wilbur Smith.It is hard to believe that he was writing 40 years ago ! and is still writing today! New generations have and still are discovering him.
